Main Composition and Content

Foot and mouth disease virus (Type O, Strain OHM/02) before inactivation at least 10^7.5 LD₅₀/0.2 ml

Foot and mouth disease virus (Type A, Strain AKT-Ⅲ) before inactivation at least 10^7.5 LD₅₀/0.2 ml

Foot and mouth disease virus (Type Asia 1, Strain Asia 1 KZ/03) before inactivation at least 10^7.5 LD₅₀/0.2 ml

Appearance

Milky white or light pink viscous emulsion.

Indication

For the prevention of foot-and-mouth disease (type O, A and Asia 1) of cattle and sheep. The duration of immunity is 6 months.

Administration and Dosage

Intramuscular injection at the neck.

For cattle, 2.0mL per head.

For sheep/goats, 1.0ml per head.

Precautions

1. Do not freezethe vaccine. Restore the vaccine to room temperature and shake well before use;
2. Use the vaccine with caution ondiseased cattle;
3. Use aseptic equipmentfor injection and disinfect the injection site;
4. Try it ona small quantity of cattle first to confirm the safety before gradually expanding the use;
5. In emergencyepidemic prevention, in addition to emergent inoculation with the vaccine, take other comprehensive prevention and control measures simultaneously;
6. Whensevere allergic reactions occur in individual cattle, take medications such as epinephrine in time for treatment and appropriate adjuvant treatment measures;
7. Keep the vaccine refrigerated during storage and protect from sunlight;
8. Treat thevaccine bottles, equipment, and unspent vaccines harmlessly.
