Main Composition and Content

Attenuated goat pox virus strain CVCC AV41 at least 10^3.5 TCID₅₀/dose.

Appearance

Spongy loose pellet, tending to be separated from the vial wall, and dissolve rapidly after reconstitution.

Indication

For the prevention of goat pox and sheep pox. The onset of immunity is 4~5 days after vaccination, and the duration of immunity is 12 months.

Administration and Dosage

Intracutaneous injection into the inner side of the tail root or thigh. Dilute the vaccine with physiological saline (or water for injection) to 0.5 ml/dose, depending on the labeled dose. Regardless of sheep or goat size, 0.5 ml per head.

Precautions

1. For use ongoats and sheep of different breedsand ages.
2. Use the vaccine with caution on pregnant sheep. If necessary,avoidmechanical abortion caused by catching sheep during injection.
3. Forthe sheep flock with an epidemic of pox, vaccinate the healthy sheep without pox in an emergency manner.
4. Once the vaccine is unsealed, use it up on the same day.
5. Disinfect the local injection site when vaccinating.
6. Treat the used vaccine vials, equipmentand unspentvaccines harmlessly.
