Recombinant Vaccine for Infectious Laryngotracheitis and Fowlpox, Live

Main Composition and Content

Recombinant fowlpox virus expressing gB gene of infectious laryngotracheitis virus at least 10^4.0 PFU/dose.

Appearance

Light yellow loose pellet, tending to be separated from the vial wall, dissolves rapidly after reconstitution and form into pink solution.

Indication

For the prevention of infectious laryngotracheitis and fowlpox of chickens. The duration of immunity is 5 months.

Administration and Dosage

Dilute the vaccine with sterile physiological saline depending on the labeled dose. Vaccinate chicks over 21 days of age through wing-web-stick method and avoid blood vessels. 3~4 days after vaccination, there will be slight swelling and occasional scab formation, which will be normal within 14 days.

Precautions:

1. Vaccinate only healthy chickens. Do not administer the vaccine to emaciated chickens orthose which have been exposed to fowlpox virus.
2. Examine the vaccines carefully before use. Do not use the vaccines with broken vials,lack of label, or impurities.
3. Keep the reconstitutedvaccine in a cold and dark place and use it up within 4 hours.
