Main Composition and Content
Attenuated duck viral hepatitis virus strain CH60 serotype Ⅰ at least 104.0 ELD50/dose
Appearance
A light red spongy loose pellet, tending to be separated from the vial wall, and dissolve rapidly after reconstitution.
Indication
For the prevention of duck viral hepatitis caused by duck hepatitis virus serotype Ⅰ. Vaccinate ducklings below 1 week of age, the onset of partial immunity is 3~5 days after vaccination, the onset of good immunity is 7 days after vaccination, and the duration of immunity is more than 1 month (for ducklings with maternal antibodies, the optimal vaccination time is 1 day of age); vaccination on adult breeding ducks before laying can provide maternal antibody protection against duck viral hepatitis for their ducklings, and 14 days after vaccination, their ducklings can obtain good passive immune protection. The duration of immunity for adult breeding ducks is 6 months.
Administration and Dosage
Dilute the vaccine with physiological saline depending on the labeled dose.
- Ducklings aged 1~7 days: intramuscular injection at the duck legs, 0.25 ml (1 dose) per bird (for ducklings with maternal antibodies, the optimalvaccination time is 1 day of age)
- Breeding ducks aged 22~24 weeks(1 week before laying): intramuscular injection at the duck legs, 1 ml (1 dose) per bird.
Precautions
- Before use, carefully check whether the vaccine vialhas a vacuum and whether the vaccine content has mold.
- Vaccinate only healthy and disease-freeducks. Do not administer the vaccine to weak ducks or ducks with other diseases.
- Disinfect the tools such as injection needles and the injection site with 5% iodinebefore use.
- Keep the reconstituted vaccine in a cool and dark place and use it up within 4 hours.
