Main Composition and Content
Chicken-embryo-adapted attenuated duck distemper virus strain CVCC AV1222 at least 103.0 ELD50/dose.
Appearance
Spongy loose pellet, tending to be separated from the vial wall, dissolve rapidly after reconstitution.
Indication
For the prevention of duck plague. The onset of immunity is 3~4 days after vaccination. The duration of immunity for ducks aged over 2 months is 9 months. The duration of immunity for newborn ducklings is 1 month.
Administration and Dosage
Intramuscular injection. Dilute the vaccine with physiological saline depending on the labeled dose.
For adult ducks, 1.0 ml (1 dose) per bird.
For ducklings, 0.25ml (1 dose) per bird.
Precautions
- Keep the reconstituted vaccine in a cool and dark place and useit upwithin 4 hours.
- Disinfect the local injection site when administer inoculation.
- Treat the used vaccine vials, equipment, and unspent vaccines harmlessly.
