Inactivated pasteurella multocida strain C48-2 (CVCC 44802)

Appearance

Suspension with the upper layer being a clear liquid and the lower layer being a small amount of precipitation after long standing. It become uniform after shaking.

Indication

For the prevention of avian pasteurella (avian cholera). The duration of immunity is 3 months.

Administration and Dosage

Intramuscular injection.

For chickens or ducks aged under 2 months, 2.0 ml per bird.

Precautions

1. Do not freeze the vaccine;
2. Restore the vaccine to room temperature and shake it well before use;
3. Use the aseptic injection equipment and disinfect the injection site;
4. Treat the used vaccine bottles, equipment, and the unspent vaccine harmlessly.
